Whole30 Journey

So I wanted a place to help track my progress on the Whole30 Journey. I was thinking about on Facebook or Instagram but I didn't want to be publicizing to everyone about my fitness and health goals. I am not one of those people who post what I am eating or that I am working out to social media. But I did need a place to track my progress and keep me honest about my Whole30 Journey. I want a place to vent to and a place to share my thoughts. I am going to be doing this alone, Bradwell will eat the food but is not going to live by all the rules for the 30 days {no surprise there}

Let's get this straight I am NOT jumping on the bandwagon of "New Year New You". I found this program right before the holidays and didn't want to set myself up for failure so I waited till the beginning of the year.

For those that don't know what the Whole30 the cliff notes version is basically for 30 days you go on a Paleo Diet. You only eat real foods;  no additives, nothing processed, no grains, and no sugar! You eat fruits, vegetables, meats and healthy fats. You still eat your 3 meals a day plus 2 or 3 snacks but it is all healthy and more satisfying. After the 30 days you will start to slowly reintroduce your body to the old foods you use to eat and see how your body reacts to them. The idea is that after the 30 days you will no longer have the sugar cravings and will have a new way you see food. It is also said to help with different medical conditions. If you would like more details check out their website Whole30

I am hoping that this page of my blog will keep me on track. I plan to post daily if nothing else the recipes that I used that day and how I am feeling.

Wish me luck! I plan on starting this in the next week or so; once I have finished all the prep work.
